Fashioned from Reclaimed American Chestnut, this chest tells a story of history and resilience. American Chestnut is a hardwood tree native to the Eastern United States. Once abundant, it is characterized by its straight-grained, durable wood, prized for woodworking. Sadly, it faced near-extinction due to a fungal blight in the early 20th century, making it a rare and historically significant tree.

This "Limited Edition" Tying Chest is made from reclaimed Chestnut lumber salvaged from an old barn in Pennsylvania.

With the pivot bars machined from vertically grained Ash, this is truly a collector's piece of art.
